Terms of Service
This page is maintained by DeSmedt Games to describe the rules and expectations for using the app.
1. Who You Are Contracting With
French Fun Planner is owned and operated by DeSmedt Games (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as French Fun Planner. These Terms form an agreement between you and DeSmedt Games. You can reach us at support@frenchfun.ca.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for or continuing to use French Fun Planner, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
3. Subscriptions, Pricing and Billing
French Fun Planner includes a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a Teacher Pro subscription, billed at CAD $6.00 per month or CAD $60.00 per year (taxes calculated at checkout, prices shown in your local currency where supported). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the paid period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms, and refunds are described in our Refund Policy. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply to renewals after the notice period.
4. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
5. Account and Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. French Fun Planner is intended for teachers and adult educators.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes, to harass others, to upload harmful content, or to attempt to interfere with the service or other users’ accounts.
7. Content You Create
Schedules, classes, notes, and other content you enter remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your planning data. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, display, and back up that data so the app can function.
8. Intellectual Property
The French Fun Planner name, French-themed icons, design, and code are the property of DeSmedt Games. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the app without permission.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for scheduling errors, data loss, or any damages arising from your use of the app beyond what is required by applicable law. Please keep backups of important plans.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will post the latest version here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
